Constant - a value that does not change
Constant Rate - an equivalent ratio in which something is changing
Decay Factor - the speed at which something is breaking down (the multiplication factor)
Decay Rate - the percentage at which something is breaking down
Dependent Variable - the value which is taken or derived from the value of the independent variable

x-axis - the horizontal number line on the cartesian coordinate system
x-intercept - the value of x at the point where a function crosses the x axis; in other words where y=0
y-axis - the vertical number line on the cartesian coordinate system
y-intercept - the value of y at the point where a function crosses the y axis; in other words where x=0
